Walter Floriani Presentations at both Byrd's Nest locations

First Walter Floriani Presentation:
The Byrd's Nest Quilt Shop on Granada Blvd Ormond Beach, FL right across the street from the OutBack Steak House had a successful day with Walter Floriani who seems to be the king of embroidery. He said he is the 5th generation of the largest embroidery company in the world.

Second Walter Floriani Presentation:
As if that afternoon was not enough they did it again at the other Byrd's Nest location in Flager Beach/Palm Coast on Old Kings Road across the street from Winn Dixie in that shopping complex where Curves and Allstate Insurance is located. It was an interesting and entertaining presentation that Walter Floriani has put together.

Kathy Byrd and Barbara Brooks along with the rest of the staff did a lot of work to help make this day and evening a success..They did a heck of a job. We certainly came out of there knowing more about Floriani Stabilizer and the whole Floriani line. They certainly have lots to offer.

Walter Floriani Software
Walter Floriani explained how his software can help us digitize designs so we would have trouble free designs to stitch out. The Byrds Nest had some nice specials on the "Creative Vision" , which is the top of the line Pfaff sewing/embroidery machine to go along with the many other Floriani Specials that were being offered. Many of the ladies took home a copy of the book Walter Floriani wrote "Destined to Digitze and we all took home a wonderful free gift - the "Thread Converter Pro III" to put in our computers....along with Stabilizing Solution with Kay Brooks to remind us of all the info we learned from Walter Floriani.

Darlene Geisendorff Guillory
They had an added attraction when Darlene Geisendorff Guillory came to the evening session in Flagler/Palm Coast. Darlene is a Pfaff educator and author of the book "Traditional Cutwork Made Easy". Which she brought a free copy for everyone. Now that excited everyone even more than they already were. Thank you, Darlene. I felt like I was at "Oprah's Favorite Summer Things Give Away Show"...............What a good night had by all.

American Idol
Then most of us were rushing home to see David Archelta and David Cook sing in the final competion of the "American Idol" - thanks to DVR with Brighthouse cable. Not to forget "Dancing with the Stars" winner Kristi Yamaguchi being announced. So you can see Walter Floriani and the Byrds Nest Quilt Shop went up against some pretty tough competion Tuesday night May 20, 2008 but it sure didn't keep us away.
